Every Woman's House of Wayne and Holmes Counties is committed to building a community free of violence where everyone is treated with respect and dignity. They collaborate and partner with other organizations and individuals in the community to end the cycle of violence.
The Friends and Neighbors organization provides additional funding for Every Woman's House and promotes public awareness of the women's shelter and the agency's programs.
Current shelter census is 1 single woman, 8 women with children and 12 children.
On Tuesday, March 26, you can show your support for Every Woman's House by dining at either Wooster Bob Evans restaurant location. Simply present a flyer to the cashier upon checkout and 15% of your total bill wil be donated to Every Woman's House.

Orders can be placed until Wednesday, April 10 and your flowers will be available for pick-up on Saturday, May 18, at Buss Hall at the Wayne County Fairgrounds where our wonderful volunteers will be ready to help you find your orders and load them into your vehicles.

The 2013 Friends & Neighbors of Every Woman's House Garden Tour will take place on Saturday, July 13, from 9am to 4pm. There will be a continental breakfast held at Secrest Arboretum with guest speaker, Ken Cochran.
There will be six gardens on the tour this year. If you're interested in participating as a volunteer, or for more information on tickets and the gardens to be included, contact Barb Knapic at 330-417-6393.
Friends and Neighbors of Every Woman’s House will hold its annual benefit golf scramble at Mohican Hills Golf Course in Jeromesville on Monday and Tuesday, August 12 and 13, 2013.
This event is one of the fundraisers of Friends and Neighbors of Every Woman’s House. Funds are raised by event participation, donations, and tee and green sponsorships. All monies raised go directly to Every Woman’s House. Last year, the golf benefit scramble raised more than $13,000.
Friends and Neighbors of Every Woman’s House is supported by more than 500 members, with membership open to anyone in the community. This group provides funds for Every Woman’s House (EWH), promotes public awareness of the EWH emergency shelter, and sponsors shelter programs.
Every Woman’s House is the only domestic violence shelter serving Wayne and Holmes counties. In addition to offering 24-hour emergency shelter, Every Woman’s House provides individual and group counseling for adults and children, advocacy and victims’ assistance, a 24-hour toll-free helpline, community education, and referral services. Every Woman’s House’s work to promote healthy, non-violent families in our community is essential to the wellbeing of the community.
